Salto is proud to announce a major advancement in its sustainability efforts across the Nordic region. Although Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland have each participated in past emission compensation initiatives, this year they are collaborating for the first time in a unified program with Trefadder.
Driving Positive Impact for Climate and Biodiversity
Founded in 2019, Trefadder has quickly emerged as Norway's leading organization in CO₂ capture. By executing well-managed tree-planting projects, Trefadder ensures long-term carbon storage while also aiding in the preservation and restoration of biodiversity in vulnerable ecosystems. Their efforts adhere to strict scientific and methodological standards, guaranteeing authentic and measurable climate benefits. This collaboration allows Salto to effectively reduce its carbon footprint by supporting nature-based climate solutions.
