What a beautiful location for the HITEC Europe conference this week! The resort city of Palma on the Spanish island of Mallorca served as the backdrop for HITEC, the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference, held April 9-11, 2019, at the Palau de Congressos de Palma.
HITEC shows are always a great opportunity for us to share our latest innovative electronic access control solutions to industry experts and connect with our technology partners. Not only are our electronic locks packed with advanced keyless and mobile technology inside, they are visually appealing on the exterior and can complement any hotel decor.
HITEC Europe represents an excellent opportunity to present SALTO’s broad product range that covers every corner of the access control spectrum in a hotel, from back-of-house organisation to guest services doors to guest room management. We know the hospitality industry, and we understand that it is more than just guest room management. This is why we participate in the HITEC Europe Hospitality conference - to share with industry professionals a complete product range especially made for hospitality.
Our Ælement Fusion Euro is the perfect example (and was very popular at HITEC Europe!). This RFID lock allows you to integrate all your physical security needs into one stylish, energy efficient, reliable, wire-free system. The Ælement Fusion Euro’s minimalistic design looks chic and discreet on any door and can be combined with a designer handle (that meets Euro-DIN and ANSI standards) for that polished look. The Ælement Fusion Euro-DIN model incorporates an innovative clutch assembly mechanism that enables a free turn of an outer design handle of a door for a latch assembly of the door lock. This allows the outer handle to rotate to open a door when the door is unlocked and to rotate freely when the door is locked so that the internal mechanism will not be damaged.
Another highlight at HITEC Europe was SALTO’s new SVN-FLex electronic locking technology. SVN-Flex is particularly suited for hospitality because it brings guest and staff credential updating directly to the door. This is extremely beneficial in that it enhances the guest experience, hotel management, security, IT and maintenance. For guests in particular, SVN-Flex provides a better keyless and mobile experience. For hotel management, it provides a safe and convenient environment for guests, visitors and staff by providing the most up-to-date user access information for virtually all doors in a hotel property.
HITEC Europe attendees were also treated to the latest version of SALTO ProAccess SPACE which is the biggest software release ever for SALTO Hospitality. One-hundred percent web-based and mobile capable, with powerful multitasking features, ProAccess SPACE is simple-to-use access control software for managing guest room locks, staff, visitors and doors. It includes functionalities such as mobile keys (BLE & NFC), group check-in, real-time re-rooming and real-time extended stay. These capabilities, plus other key hotel features, make it easy to control all offline and online guest rooms and back-of-house doors from one central location. SALTO ProAccess SPACE permits quick and fast guest check-ins, staff management, and includes advanced features like multiple wandering intruder detections, full HTML5 support, webcam support, improved audit trail filtering/reports and user experience concerning locations/functions in the front-end.
