28 Stanley Street is the first en-block mixed-use development in Hong Kong to be entirely owned and operated by TEC. The unique complex comprises 31 floors, 18 of which are specifically designed for private offices and enterprise solutions. Two floors are allocated for coworking spaces, and an entire floor is set aside for event spaces. 

For 28 Stanley Street, TEC needed an access solution that would ensure an elevated experience for their members.,

TEC came to Salto with clear objectives spanning three core areas: seamless integration, security, and user experience. Access needed to be simple and seamless for users, while also providing certainty on security, including elevator control, and data privacy.  

Operationally, TEC was seeking a system that would enhance service quality while also removing the need for excessive on-site staff presenceThe solution also needed to integrate with TEC’s Members App to provide a holistic solution.

TEC has evolved alongside Salto, adopting new Salto offerings as they become available and adding greater flexibility and functionality over time. Today, TEC is operating Salto’s cloud-based smart access solution, Salto KS.  

Chelsea Perino, TEC's Managing Director of global Marketing and communication, explains, “Salto KS adds an additional layer of data and access for us because it’s all centralised in the cloud. And that’s really useful because our clients, many of which are corporate multinationals, are really interested in knowing how people are using the office.” 

Data security and privacy were also key concerns among clients at TEC. Salto KS, as a cloud-based system, is subject to rigorous data security and privacy testing and is ISO 27001—and GDPR-certified. As such, TEC knew they were selecting a solution that prioritizes user data security. 

As soon as each solution was selected, collaborative work began on the integration between Salto and TEC’s chosen cloud-based office management system. The completed integration enables TEC members to utilise a digital key embedded within the app, manage bookings, and allow office administrators to view usage data.  

Adding this functionality to the app has increased app usage, which has led to greater user engagement. Due to the increased app usage, TEC can reach members more frequently with community messaging, including thought leadership and available member benefits.  

The integration ensures hassle-free access and allows members to fully leverage TEC's advantages and resources.
