Since establishing its corporate headquarters in Singapore and expanding across Asia Pacific, JustCo sought to procure a seamless access control system to manage all locations across different markets. They knew a centralized system would provide the opportunity to align processes and establish standard operating procedures across all markets. However, it was a challenge to find an access control solution that catered to all their needs. They were looking for a solution that provided a software development kit (SDK) to integrate with their in-house J-force platform so they could customize functions based on their internal requirements and the needs of members. They also wanted a platform which supported facial recognition and ran on rechargeable batteries in standalone systems.

JustCo chose to deploy Salto electronic access control throughout their coworking facilities in Taipei and Hsinchu. SALTO met the strict requirements of being a robust, cutting-edge access solution that is also scalable and easy to manage. SALTO was also able to provide an SDK to facilitate integration of the platform with JustCo’s J-force management solution.
JustCo adopted the pioneering data-on-card and smart access solution Salto Space within their centres. Powered by a wireless smart access system, Salto Space provides members with easy entry and exit to different parts of JustCo centres. It also delivers a smart on-site access control platform that’s designed to work in a wire-free environment so there is no need to hardwire any door access points in the building. This allows users to keep original doors and locks in place.
JustCo representatives said that they were most impressed with Salto BLUEnet’s Wireless capabilities. Salto BLUEnet Wireless functionality allows administration staff and system operators to view and manage doors, access points, and lockers in real-time. The system enables seamless connectivity between stand-alone wireless locks and online access points. It is also integrated into existing IT networks so that staff members can instantly update member credentials to grant access to JustCo’s facilities. The real-time door monitoring function also enhances efficiency and the user experience for their members.
The Salto electronic access system has provided JustCo staff and coworking members with a safe and secure workspace that allows instant and hassle-free access to the premises. Management can remotely operate the system and respond accordingly. This solution gives JustCo employees more flexibility to work in different locations based on their schedules.
