In 2017, Ternua Group, a textile company specialising in the design and production of technical sports equipment and sports fashion, sealed the purchase of Loreak Mendian and promoted the internationalisation of the Donostia-born company. Currently, Loreak Mendian has 150 multi-brand points of sale around the world, and a network of physical stores in San Sebastian, Bilbao, Madrid, Paris, La Samaritaine, and El Corte Inglés.
A few years ago, Loreak Mendian decided to install secure access control to help manage its network of stores and its staff, in line with its commitment to sustainability and the use of the latest technology. In main entrances, gates and warehouses, Neo Cylinders were installed, a product that can be adapted to any door in any building and meets all physical security needs, thus providing all user-access information.
Wall readers were also installed to manage the opening of outdoor blinds that protect stores. Installing XS4 electronic locks in warehouses also provides stores with a complete security solution, especially in areas that need greater reinforcement in terms of online and real-time access control.
