Overview Located in the beautiful surrounds of Mount Beauty and at the entrance to Falls Creek in Victoria’s northeast, St. Falls Resort is Australia’s premier family-friendly ski resort. Taking over from previous owners, St. Falls Resort launched in December 2021, and offers 40 boutique apartments as well as a variety of food and beverage options. Guests can enjoy onsite dining at every occasion, with breakfast through to dinner covered by the 1550 Café, 1550 Restaurant, and the PowderKeg Bar.

- Single credential: From the front door to ski facilities, guests can use a single credential to access them all.
- Better guest experience: With a wristband that opens every door they need, the experience of getting around St. Falls is now seamless and effortless. Even when transitioning from ski fields to apartment rooms.
- Future-proof: At the time of writing, the installation is stand-alone and offline, meaning that the locks are not connected via wireless but are reading and writing data via the credentials. When a guest badges one of the perimeter readers, the system is then updated. In the future, however, St Falls intends to move more of the system “online”, enabling real-time monitoring and updates.
- Saving money: With the operational efficiencies realised through the new system, Linda says that “the savings are evident”.
- Expanded features: The Salto System enables St. Falls to provide access per user or group per area. It also creates an audit trail, giving the team full transparency over who has gone where and when.
