Today, we are announcing the launch of the new NCoder model, a key complement to Salto’s smart access solutions to meet our users' evolving requirements. The NCoder is a dedicated card encoder that integrates seamlessly with Salto’s cloud-based access control infrastructure. Operators and system administrators can now add securely encoded smart access credentials quickly and easily on the Salto Homelok platform.
The new NCoder is specifically designed for high-traffic, multi-family properties where physical access credentials are preferred. Simple to install and use, the NCoder leverages proprietary BLUEnet Wireless technology to facilitate secure online connectivity through Salto’s IQ3 or IQ3 Mini gateways. It comes with an intuitive programming tool that enables operators and system administrators to add, modify, or revoke physical access delivered through our MIFARE DESFire contactless RFID proximity cards.
The new NCoder is built with security, ease of installation, and efficient day-to-day utility in mind. Fully wireless-enabled, it powers via a simple USB-B power cable, simplifying power source requirements and allowing for easy connectivity to the existing security infrastructure.
