SALTO Space Training
SALTO Space Basic Certification Training is for technical personnel or individuals with little or no experience with SALTO products.
Our 2-day SALTO Space classes are being held on the dates shown below, during the week from 9am-4:30pm in the Eastern time zone.
- Day 1: Module 1 and 2: SALTO hardware (Locks, Controllers and RF) Tuesday 9am-4:30pm
- Day 2:Module 3 and 4: SALTO Space software (Initial config., setup, features) Wednesday 9am-4:30pm
To take advantage of SALTO ProAccess Space training courses, the following prerequisites must be met:
- Every 2-3 students attending the class must have access to a SALTO training kit. The Training Kit reference numbers and costs are available in the “SALTO Canada Addendum Price List” posted in the Partner Area.
- Prior to class, students must complete the pre-training requirements and install the ProAccess Space demo software included in the Training kit. Additional trial licences (SPATRIAL) are provided to Certified Partners at no cost for their registered students. Further instructions on pre-training requirements and installing the ProAccess Space software will be sent along with your registration confirmation.
If a student wishes to attend the course but does not have the training kit, nor require the “SALTO Certified Installer” certification, then the virtual presence course can still be attended in “listen only mode” for informational purposes.
In the SALTO Space Basic Certification Training class, you will:
- Learn and understand the SALTO product line, including locks, infrastructure, technology and software.
- Review SALTO’s online resources and technical support structure.
- Learn how to specify, install and implement the SALTO Space application and associated hardware on customer's premises.
- Learn how to utilize SALTO's locking solutions to secure every door.
- Understand how data-on-card technology solves tough access control challenges.
- Learn best practices for a SALTO deployment including: System design, installation strategies and troubleshooting.
“SALTO ProAccess Space Certified Installer” certification requirements. Upon completion of the class, access to the Certified Installer exam will be granted. A passing score of 75% is required to earn the SALTO Certified Installer certificate.

Step 2: Place your order for the SALTO Space Training kit by emailing sales.ca@saltosystems.com. The SALTO Space training kits are mandatory for all training courses not held in one of our Xperience Centers and ordered at NET price. Training kits will be made available for those attending an in-person training held at one of our Xperience Centers.

SALTO KS Training
SALTO KS Certification Training is for technical personnel or individuals with little or no experience with SALTO KS products.
Our 1 day SALTO KS virtual presence classes are being held on the dates shown below, during the week from 9am-3:30pm depending on the time zone for the class location.
- Module 1: SALTO KS hardware (Locks, Controllers and RF) 9am-11:30pm
- Lunch break: 11:30am -1:00pm
- Module 2: SALTO KS software (Web App, Larry configuration tool) 1pm- 3:30pm
Prerequisites to take advantage of virtual SALTO KS training courses:
- Every 2-3 students attending the class must have access to a SALTO KS training kit. The Training Kit reference numbers and costs are available in the “SALTO Addendum Price List” posted in the Partner Area.
- If a student wishes to attend the course but does not have the training kit, nor require the “SALTO KS Certified Installer” certification, then the course can still be attended in “listen only mode” for informational purposes.

- Learn best practices for a SALTO KS deployment including: System design, installation strategies and troubleshooting.
- Earn the “SALTO KS Certified Installer” certification: Upon completion of the class, access to the Certified Installer exam will be granted. A passing score of 75% is required to earn the SALTO KS Certified Installer certificate.
- The students who earn the “SALTO KS Certified Installer” certification will be granted access to the Larry 2.0 KS commissioning platform, which makes SALTO KS implementation easier, and facilitates the transition from installer- to- owner control.
