SALTO Systems expands the locker lock family in the Nordic market with the launch of the XS4 Code Locker. The new XS4 Code Locker is a beautifully designed and durable locker lock with a PIN keypad. It differentiates from SALTO’s well-known XS4 Locker Lock, because of the keypad, but also because this is a standalone device which does not require any software or network connection and provides an effective solution where keypad access / PIN is required for use.
The XS4 Code Locker provides a convenient and flexible solution for many different lockers, cabinets, boxes, etc., for use in shared working spaces, sports clubs, and more. The XS4 Code Locker is a standalone locker lock that is easy to install and retrofit. Achieve simple access through the keypad with several code options that can also be assigned and be active for a specified time period:
- Fixed codes (up to 200 PINs stored in memory)
- Hour codes (active from 1-4 hours)
- Period codes (active from 1-28 days)

The multiple PIN code options make the XS4 Code Locker a simple and cost-effective solution for several applications. It can be used as an access solution where the user is the same, and each user has either their own code or the same code that can be used by several users to operate the same locker. It can also be used with a timed PIN code function to create either period codes or hour codes to get full control of the user's access for only a specified time period. Codes are created through the user-friendly Code Locker WebApp and can be sent out directly to the receiver via email or text. Another option is to use the free assignment code function where users can select an available locker by entering a chosen PIN code, and later release the locker by using the same PIN code.

Even though it is a standalone unit, the XS4 Code Locker is fully programmable via a PC or mobile phone, with the added convenience of programming it directly on the reader. The battery pack, electronic components, and the locking mechanism are all located on the inside of the door to prevent vandalism and sabotage. Other specifications of the XS4 Code Locker are:

- Inside cover dimensions: 100mm x 110,5mm x 25mm.
- Power source: 3 alkaline batteries (LR03 AAA 1,5V). Optional 3 Lithium batteries (FR03 – AAA 1,5V).

- Environmental conditions: Temperature: -20°C** to +60°C; Humidity: 0 to 95%.
