Smart Lock Booking offers a holistic package to clients – both the booking software and the Salto KS system, inclusive of hardware, in one. Salto KS hardware is installed on the relevant areas and is paired with Smart Lock Booking’s bespoke booking management system. The result is a clear and targeted offering to clients. Of course, Smart Lock Booking can also integrate into any existing Salto site.
Further, it is a flexible solution, fitting into any industry where a Salto lock can be installed – which is broad. The solution’s adaptability is demonstrated by Smart Lock Booking’s suite of clients across multiple industries, including the North Hobart Cricket Club in Tasmania, and Nightingale Housing, a short-stay apartment development in Adelaide, also two other sites in Victoria, Brunswick and Preston in Australia.
A new project with further demonstrates the adaptability of the solution. Darren explains, “We are excited to announce our latest project with a local government region. The project involves constructing a new purpose-built facility. This facility will include a gym, basketball court, swimming pool, kiosk, community centre, breakout meeting rooms.
“Our Smart Lock Booking System will manage keyless access for the gym and memberships, as well as bookings for the basketball court and other community spaces, including meeting rooms and kiosks. This project is part of a larger initiative to roll out similar setups in six other regional towns within the municipality, with the Smart Lock Booking Platform playing an important role in management of key assets for the community.”
The features enabled by the integration are:
- Bookable access points. Any access point can become a bookable point – from a hotel room to a basketball court, or even a padlock securing a construction site.
- Fee handling: bookable access points can also be chargeable, such as if a gym member is booking a sauna session in addition to their normal membership.
- Client-specific, white labelled software application, for mobile and web. Clients do not need to manage Salto KS directly; Smart Lock Booking integrates seamlessly enabling all operations to be done from a single point (such as member registration, room bookings, access code allocation, and so on).
- Future plans for the integration include adding in further ‘smart’ features, incorporating automated lighting and climate control in line with room or facility access.
