SALTO Systems continues to accelerate expansion in the Asia Pacific region with a new Business Unit in South Korea.
SALTO opens a new office in South Korea to support new options for access control for future smart buildings in the era of a ‘new normal’ —adding another location to its extensive network in the Asia-Pacific region and accelerating its strategic expansion into new markets. The move strengthens SALTO’s project capabilities and partner support in Korea and enables the company to increase its share of customers experiencing the SALTO difference in the country.
SALTO Systems Korea opened on 14 March 2022 and is located in Seoul. “We’re excited to continue our rapid expansion in the Asia Pacific region with a new business unit in Korea,” said Scott Fraser, President, SALTO Asia Pacific. “By expanding operations to Korea, we will work to share SALTO technology and solutions for smart building access management and solutions, and build an extensive partner network.”
In 2021, Korea’s economy expanded at the fastest pace in 11 years and their gross domestic product (GDP) reached 4.0%. This climate presents an excellent opportunity for SALTO to enter the Korean smart access market. The Korea BU is just the latest in SALTO’s expansion and increasing investment in the Asia Pacific.

The new office will allow SALTO to expand its development efforts with a more permanent footprint in the region and serve its local clients better. SALTO expects to expand its team and investment in South Korea to cater to demand from its projects and new partners. The SALTO Korea BU is conveniently located in Seoul to further strengthen collaboration among partners and streamline operations among its lines of service.
