Clock PMS+ is a cloud native system capable of communication with locally installed systems like Salto electronic locking solutions. When a staff member or the hotel guest starts the room key issuing process, a door key request is generated by Clock PMS+’s cloud servers. Thanks to the Clock IoT device (working locally in the hotel), this request is sent to the local Salto server to take over and process the request using the selected door key encoder and/or digital key. The result is communicated back to the staff member or guest having initiated it.
