Salto’s front-desk management software ProAccess Space has now integrated TK Elevator in its “Elevators” module. Guests can now present their credential in the wall reader of any property that has chosen Thyssenkrupp as elevator provider and Salto as electronic lock provider, and the keypad that is usually next to the wall reader will immediately activate those floors the guest has access to. Then, the guest would choose the floor and one of the multiple elevators would lift the guest.
These are the main features or particularities of the integration with TK Elevator:
- The ProAccess Space software directly communicates with the keypad, there is no server-to-server integration. In other words, Thyssenkrupp has no server. Access plans are defined in the Space software and the communication is established via TKE protocol.
- This integration is compatible with all the Thyssenkrupp solutions that are compatible with the TKE protocol. Besides, there also protocols developed by third parties that do the trick.
- Specific elevators module license is needed.
