When 360 King Street Managing Principal Eric Johnson was considering purchasing a multi-family property to renovate and lease out in Charleston, South Carolina, he knew he wanted to provide an upscale living environment with the latest technology. This meant he would have to provide residents with digital access that would allow them to use a smartphone to gain entry to the building, their living units, and other areas of the property. 

Johnson wanted to have the benefits of the electronic access solution in place prior to residents moving in. As this was a renovation, Johnson said he wanted to manage the renovation and deliveries remotely as he did not live near the property and would often be offsite.

Johnson and the 360 King Street renovation team began using the Salto KS solution before any residents moved into the building. As Johnson said, he does not live near the property, but he was able to manage access for deliveries and members of the renovation team remotely via Salto KS. After the property was ready for move-in, the solution was fully deployed to each apartment unit and throughout the property.
